Günter has the normal rocky grey skin of his Goliath race. Günter wears the wolf hide armour of his tribe and carries a makeshift maul. Günter’s maul is a 3 inch round dead tree trunk, it’s roots from life still entwined in a 3 foot chunk of ruined pillar. Günter found this weapon while fleeing from his people.
Günter is used to being the tallest in his tribe so in human lands he is almost constantly hunching over so that he appears (in his mind) less out of place.
Günter wants to be a shaman so he can return to his tribe with pride and become the leader he was born to be. To that end Günter reveres any ally Shaman and fears enemy Shamans.
Günter has run away from his tribe in disgrace. He has no freinds, family, or aquantences from those days.
Günter is the first born son of his tribe’s chieftain. In Günter’s tribe of the “Mountain Drake” leadership has been handed down from father to eldest son for generations. The first born son becomes a Shaman and leads his people in all aspects of life.
Unfortunately for Günter, he is not wise enough to become a Shaman and therefore cannot lead his people. Günter was ashamed that he let down his father and people until they discovered Gunter’s younger brother (insert name later) was taking to the Shaman training magnificently. Günter vowed to protect and honour his little brother for the service he was giving his people.
Then Günter had a dream one night where a Mountain Drake led him away from the village to some collapsed caves. Once inside the cave, Günter was surrounded by a bright warm light that washed out his vision. When it returned Gunter was leading his people from his Father’s chair with his brother by his side. When Günter awoke, he went in search of the cave.
The cave was further away than he thought and it took three days to find. Once there Günter cleared enough rubble to enter the series of caves. He found a decades abandoned village site within the caves. He also found cave wall paintings depicting Goliaths being lead by a strong warrior! Günter didn’t have to be a Shaman to lead his people! Günter returned home as soon as he could to tell his father.
When Günter got back home he found that his father had died the night before and that his brother now lead the clan. Saddened Günter grieved with his brother. When Günter did bring up the topic of the cave, his brother sent four of the clan’s warriors with Günter to verify the find in the caves.
After a few days of travel Günter finally lead the warriors into the cave, but that is when things go awry. Günter blacks out and when he comes to, all four of his tribes men are dead and he is covered in their blood. Shocked, ashamed, and horrified at what he has done, Günter never returns home.
