Bio:

The Copperheels were a very proud and opportunistic clan, able to turn good fortune into great fortune. Like many dwarven clans, the Copperheels were great miners. They had many mines rich with veins of all kinds of ore but copper, of course, was their most sought after and abundant metal. They were well known for their keen craft with copper.

As their mines ran deeper, the Copperheels discovered an underground lake teeming with a fish they had never seen before. The fish were so abundant in this lake that it is said that the younger dwarves raced across the water on the heads of these fish. They decided to call the fish the clubhead because of it’s bulbous head and oddly small tail. The fish became a staple for the clan. One recipe in particular gained instant popularity; a dried and salted treat that could last on the road for great lengths and which provided much nourishment.

This treat was eventually sought after by nearby towns and villages. The Copperheel’s seized the opportunity, and began shipping and selling Copperheel Clubhead to the entire region. It’s popularity grew and so did the fishing operation under the ground. The lake was fished heavily and in a short 6 years, the business had become unprofitable. There were no more fish in the lake. The clan suffered damaged relations with the surrounding region and some of the clan sought new riches elsewhere. Most of the clan turned their focus back to the mines.

On one of his many wreckless wanderings, a young Ulrin Copperheel discovered another lake filled with clubhead. The new lake was bigger than the previous one. He called the ethics of his clan into question before he revealed the location of the new lake. The clan agreed to form a council to responsibly manage the fishing operation for sustainability and which would oversee the clubhead’s health and population. They also reintroduced the clubhead to the original lake to repopulate it. The young will walk on water once more.

Ulrin was a born fighter and has trained with the clan’s best warriors. Having enlightened his clan, Ulrin Copperheel of Clan Copperheel has decided to spread the ideals of responsible sustainability to all the cultures of the world. If they choose not to listen… then they be damned by the gods.
